Mastercard brings agentic payments to life Powered by Dataiera.

Mastercard debuted Agent Pay in Dubai, marking its first transaction outside the United States. Dataiera was the fintech partner powering the launch, alongside retail and leisure leader Majid Al Futtaim.

In the pilot, cardholders use an AI agent to search, discover and transact through Mastercard Agent Pay — including booking theatre tickets at VOX Cinemas — with our platform handling the agentic commerce and payment orchestration behind the scenes.

The launch was unveiled in the presence of H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence; Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach; and Majid Al Futtaim Holding CEO Ahmed Galal Ismail.
